With two sessions each week, riders can deepen their connection with the horse, reinforce techniques, and make faster progress—all within a fun, encouraging environment.

Located in Bonsall, we offer riding lessons to all of North San Diego. With many years of riding and teaching experience Arena Equestrian welcomes all riders from beginner, intermediate, to advanced. Whether you are just learning to ride, wanting to get back in the saddle after some time off, or are currently riding we welcome everyone. We offer Hunter/Jumper, Dressage and Western Horsemanship lessons.
To ensure safety of horse and rider, minimum age is 6 years and maximum weight is 180lbs.
In order to build riding skills, we ask that all students commit to a minimum of once a week lessons. Payment is due before the start of the lesson. We currently accept payment in cash, check, venmo or zelle.
Lessons are 60 minutes long, and students spend 35-45 minutes on the horse. The rest of the lesson is learning to groom, tack, and untack.
Long pants (jeans or breeches) are required. Sweatpants, leggings, or shorts are not allowed. No baggy shirts or crop tops, please.
Boots with a small heel (paddock boots or western/cowboy boots) required.
Helmets are required for all ages. We can provide a helmet until you purchase one (helmets should be for horseback riding, no bike or motorcycle helmets)
Students must come appropriately dressed for lessons or they will not be allowed to ride
